By Ralph McCubbin Howell
★★★★★ “…merging magic realism, sharp writing and brilliant performances to deliver an inspiring work that is both comedic and profoundly compassionate.” – FringeFeed (Australia)
It’s 1998. Otto is twelve but he says he’s thirteen and he’s pretty sure he gets away with it. He lives in an old wooden two-story house with his mum, dad, and sister, a chain-smoking Icelandic granny, and an ancient malevolent troll that’s living in the wall.
Award-winning New Zealand company Trick of the Light Theatre (The Bookbinder) returns to Riverside with this darkly comic one-man show in the vein of TV show Stranger Things (Netflix).Featuring storytelling, music and puppetry this uncanny lo-fi wi-fi tale of the digital age will enchant and captivate.
