Riverside presents a Monkey Baa Theatre Company production
HITLER’S DAUGHTER
Based on the book by Jackie French
The multi award-winning production told through the eyes of four Australian children returns to the stage due to popular demand.
One rainy morning, Mark, Ben, Anna and Tracey take turns telling stories as they wait for the school bus to arrive. When Anna begins to tell the story about Heidi, a young girl whose father was one of the most dreaded men in history, Mark becomes engrossed and starts questioning the nature of society’s fears and prejudices.
Switching between 1940s Nazi Germany and contemporary Australia this poignant, powerful and thought-provoking adaptation will resonate with your students for years to come.
Free in-school workshops run by Monkey Baa are available by request prior to the performance season. These are limited to the first few schools who express interest, so book early!
